A quick survey.

I seem to be not able to make the decision by myself, so I've decided to come online and ask for everybody's opinion.

You know all my pencil sketches that I've been posting since... forever? Yeah, they're all done in one single sketchbook and I am just wondering if I were to auction that sketchbook, would anybody be interested? If yes, how much do you think people will actually pay for it?

That's one really awkward question. O_o;; But people will forgive me for asking this right? Since I'm honestly short on money because CAPCOM is sucking everybody's wallet drrrrrrry and I still need to get my printing funds ready for my artist alley table for a local anime con in June. ;A;

Some stats on the sketchbook:
- dimension 14cm x 21cm
- 44 pages unless I counted wrong
- every single page is filled -- mostly by me and one done by flames05 (And she decorated the cover too. XD)
- some drawings are NSFW. At. All.

So yeah, I would really appreciate it if people give me feedback on this.

EDIT: Under xtwilightzx's suggestion, she thinks it's better if I give an arbitrary starting price and have people's opinion on that. So um, I was thinking USD$20-30 *brick'd* do people feel that's reasonable? (I'm not experience with selling things online so I have no idea what the market price for these are.)

I'm probably doing the auction on Live Journal, since eBay's got too many regulations and restrictions on the seller.

Haha, I belated added an arbitrary starting price after I realized people are going to have a hard time coming up with prices. *fail* I was thinking 20-30 USD but my friends keep telling me that I'm being too nice. XD;; I HAVE NO IDEA.

Too bad I'm poor right now after buying a ton of exotic millipedes and tarantula spiderlings......... why are they so pretty and so expensive?? And shipping alone is usually in the 30+ dollar range, grr..

You know I still have sketches done on normal single sheet papers? I figured I should sell it because I don't take good care of my own stuff anyway. I couldn't find the sketchbook that I finished last semester anymore. XD;; It will be in better hands than mine. Price wise, I'm tempted to take your suggested price if people're willing to buy it for that much. =D

Well, yes. I do remember your tendency to not take good care of your stuff + lose it. How, is a mystery; your place is only so large. Take my price in that case! Go f'rit :D I bet lots of people would want it though, at that price. You could raffle it off? When I had some rare PW figures for sale I got people to pick a number between 1 and 50, then used a random number generator till somebody's came up, then they paid for it. That way it's fair and open to everybody from all time zones ^^

If I were to raffle it, I would probably want to incrase the price to around $40-50, which is still reasonable (hopeflly) considering that's approximately $1 per drawing. But yeah, your raffle idea is really good if I couldn't find a fair way to make the auction work.

PS Crescent shop got back to me - DVD is gonna cost US$114 and that doesn't even include shipping! Fuuuuuck. Thing is, Crescent shop only charge 2000 yen commission - it's the DVD itself that's really expensive D:

Tell me about it D: I thank the Driving and Vehicle Licensing Authority for paying me £41 every time I test somebody's visual field - I wouldn't have a hope in hell of affording it otherwise! I shall share the love in the form of a rip, don't you worry - though it's still not quite the same as owning it *le sigh* It's because it's Takarazuka that it's soooo expensive. Dammit.

And naaaah, just enjoy your schooldays - you'll miss 'em when they're gone, even if you could live without them right now :P
