Gyakuten Kenji is very addicting, like all the other Ace Attorney games. >_>;;
Ahaha I'm on the 3rd case now and I finally saw the new characters, the "key girl" (Mikumo) and that "blond spiky haired dude" (Rou). But before that, let me talk about the remainder of the second case first.
EDGEWORTH YOU'VE PROVEN YOURSELF TO BE AN EVEN BIGGER DORK AND OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR IT.
Second case is basically Edgeworth being accused of murder on an airplane. When the plane landed, Gumshoe and Franziska will meet you in the airport and continued with the investigation... This is what Gumshoe says when you examine your seat with him around (of course, it's all paraphrasing on my part XD).
Gumshoe: Mr. Edgeworth, you're even reading the 六法全書 (basically, I think it's the Asian equivalent of the Criminal Code) when you're on the plane?
Edgeworth: Of course [and then something to the effect of I take my work seriously... maybe, I coudln't remember XD;;]
Gumshoe: ...Wait, but the inside of the book is different from the cover. What does this say? "Steel Samurai's Big Secre--"
Edgeworth: C'mon! We should be investigating!!
Oh you closet fanboy. He even went through such length as to find a new cover for his Steel Samurai fanbook... SO ADORKABLE. GAHHHHHH!
Then I solved the case and all is well. For some reason, GK cases seems to be easier than the others? Or maybe it's because I'm only at the beginning.
Anyway, the 3rd case. You know what? The case started out with Edgeworth carrying about the gayest suitcase even existed into an amusement park--it's a kidnapping case and Edgeworth's responsible for handing over the money or something--where he was attacked and tied to a pole in a storage. Um um. More bondage? CAPCOM knows me too well. Then Mikumo comes in and saves the day, sort of, before getting trapped in the storage too.
When I first saw her character design, I didn't think I would like her very much at all, especially since I was afraid that CAPCOM's going to make her into a potential love interest for Edgeworth. But then apparently I was wrong because Edgeworth's still as gay as ever, even going to the length of saying "I'm not interested in women". Back to Mikumo, um, she's basically your patent underage assistant sidekick that every main character in the Ace Attorney verse has and the scene where she's fighting with Gumshoe about who's going to be Edgeworth's assistant is hilarious. <3<3
I'm reserving my opinion for Rou Shiryu right now. I haven't seen too much of him yet so there isn't much to say? And he kept babbling about some wolves' pacts (his surname is the kanji for wolf) and I couldn't understand most of it--I didn't bother because it's not related to the case. XD;; But throughout I keep thinking that he's sort of a mix of Phoenix and Tigre, if only because of his hairdo. His secretardy lady doesn't do much besides handing him random scrolls and reading out some files. But he's also the one that said no when Edgeworth requested the police to come rescue him from the storage, and just for that, I already sort of like him. Edgeworth's reaction when he got rejected was awesome.
Mike Meekins in blue badger outfit is so much better than his old GS1-5 self. No screeching of megaphones.
I think I can probably finish the game tonight or tomorrow? And THEN I'll start working on AE stuff.... shuddup, not procrastinating!
